How to Clean a Soda Stain

Pre-test in an inconspicuous area before use

Step 1: Using a white or colorfast towel, blot up as much soda as you can.

Step 2: Take your Stain Fu, shake the bottle, and then spray enough to cover the affected area.

Step 3: Gently agitate the area with a metal spoon or carpet agitator, working from the outside in.

Step 4: Let the treated area sit for about 5-10 minutes.

Step 5: Blot up the area as much as you can with a white or colorfast towel.

Step 6: Check the results. If the stain still persists, see the next steps.

Step 7: Reapply Stain Fu

Step 8: Agitate the product in again with a metal spoon or carpet agitator.

Step 9: Stack a few white or colorfast towels on the spot.

Step 10: Place a heavy object like a book or paperweight onto the towels and let it sit for at least an hour, until perhaps the next day.

Step 11: Check the area and repeat if necessary.
